Youth:

  • According to 2007 statistics' the youth constitutes about 25 per cent of the world population, and the unemployment in youth group represents almost 40 per cent, of these the majority are in the developing countries.
  • In Syria the Youth group represents a very important issue, and this section has drawn greater attendance in relation to exploiting the youth energy and direct them to participate in the development of their community. It also aims  to drive the youth  to formulate development strategies and future plans. because, the youth group represents a growing number of people, the government rallies all the resources for the enhancement of the infra structure to develop it. The state considers the strengthening of the youth as this group is considered the  genuine part of the national system to the comprehensive development.

HH, the first lady says:
"The energy and aspirations of the Syrian youth reward the NGOs and drive them to tend and design programmes in order to exploit these energies".
