Human rights:

  • Sociology defines citizenship, as a social relationship specified by the governing system, in which the citizen gives higher elegance to the state in return for his protection. psychology defines it as a relationship between the land and the country in which the citizen feels his elegance and affiliate to the country, as the political leadership takes the responsibility of fulfilling his basic needs and protect him from dangers.
  • The international community defines the citizenship as a relationship between an individual and a state according the prevailing laws with all the rights, responsibilities, affiliations, conducts and values.
  • In Syria, it is of common practice to everyone in the society to  acknowledge the existence of multi culture, multi-ideology, multi-religion and multi sects. It is being witnessed by many observers that the Syrian leadership is always keen to solidify the concept of affiliation amongst it citizens in order to deepen the idea of countrys loving and respect to the laws and the constitution.
