In 57 years, David Boutchyard hasn't had a family Christmas.
This May, he got a new family. And they're making up for lost time.
Boutchyard has Down syndrome, and went to live in a state institution as a young child. As an adult, Boutchyard moved into a Fredericksburg-area group home for adults with disabilities. He worked at a Food Lion, went to the library and enjoyed the community.
